The big seller out of my prints at Otakon 2005. Even got a few bids on the big print in the Art Auction, and only left with one print unsold.
I am so pleased with it. Many hours of frustration went into this picture that almost didn't want to print, from the time limit, to the emailing of the file, to the printer breaking down, to the matting that was going to cost me $20, to the downpour outside...
My favorite piece so far, and seemed to be the favorite of all my pictures at Otakon 2005.
^__^ ~ wonderfully made! The detail is exquisite and simply amazing! Plus, the pair of eyes on the moon make the overall tone of the deviation more intriguing and mysterious.
That is truly awesome
You captured the darker tone of The Twilight Princess perfectly in this picture!
I especially like how the moon came out, it looks photorealistic!
Thank you again!
A lot of work went into this picture, but I think in a way it drew itself. I had a part of a sketch for a few months, and then one day, Link wanted to appear on the paper, and it went from there. The mood of it came out 1000 times better than I thought I would be capable of. How it came out, blew me away, and I drew the thing. LOL
ah and here it is! Good picture, I like how he is brushing his sword through the grass... Reminds me of that famous scene from Gladiator a bit. He seems a little flat though, which may have something to do with the shading, but I think maybe it lacks enough highlights from the moon. Good attention to detail though, the new Link is a hard one to draw and I think you've done well
I'm not suprised it sold so many prints. I like it too
Thank you!
I'm still refining my technique. I keep improving, so I am working on making them more alive. I guess he does seem a bit flat, though, the picture is rather unrealistic. Link wouldn't be that bright if the moon was really behind him....
but he came out the way I invisioned him in my mind.
Thank you for your comments! I work harder on making the next one more 3-d.
